Mine are typically 70 to 80 stitches, give or take, and 100 rows to each side. Don't forget to add 4 turning rows. <br /> I don't know what gauge you are getting or what yarn, so a little math would be in order. Maybe try making one with your calculations and adjust from there. It's a good idea to just fool around with swatches at first to practice different skills and get comfortable with the machine.<br />I had a KX350 early on and loved it. I now also have a LK 350 and I think the Brother machine is so much better in terms of engineering, ease of use, dependability.
