New Machine Knit Pattern : Watercolors Cowl

Have been working on this technique for a while and just finished writing up the pattern. It's probably a technique you're not familiar with. I haven't seen it done elsewhere, but that doesn't mean someone else hasn't done it. It's knitting in the round on a single bed so that when done, there are no seams. It produces an interesting fabric.

The picture at top shows the purl side as the public side. The picture at bottom shows the knit side as public side, the same cowl. So far, I've made two cowls and a 6.5 foot scarf with the technique. I've used the standard gauge, midguage and bulky machines. Each gives a slightly different look to it.

The pattern is for the pictured cowl, but once you understand the technique, you can make other things. No ribber is required, it's a beginner pattern and any machine and yarn can be used. Make it with cotton as a fashion statement; out of wool for warmth. Hand dyed yarns are especially pretty!

The pattern is $5.00, purchased through PayPal, emailed to you.
