Oh Baby

We had a terrific wind and rain storm this afternoon, prompting us to go to the lower level of the house. The weather channel said the wind had the force of a hurricane. I don't think we got the full force of its fury, thank heavens. Now the sun is out and the rain drops are glistening on the flowers. Love that!

I finally finished writing up the pattern for my Oh Baby Shrug. It really turned out cute. Normally I wouldn't use this yarn, but was at JoAnn Fabrics, saw this yarn and couldn't resist the color-way. It actually turned out to be a soft yarn and washes beautifully. As much as I love natural fibers, I remember the zillion washings my kids' clothes got. Acrylic yarn is so easy to maintain. Anyway, the shrug is knit on the midgauge machine, meaning 6.5 to 7.0 gauge spacing of the needles. I am not familiar with the Bond knitting machine, but I'm betting this can be knit easily on that machine as well. I'm thinking the difficulty level is about at an advanced beginner stage. It really is not difficult, but you would need to have a little beginning mastery of your machine. The pattern gives 3 sizes: 12 months, 18 months and two years. I'm offering the pattern for $8.00. Click the Pay Pal Buy Now button and I will email you a pdf file of the pattern. Thanks for looking. Mar
